Great location, downtown DC, the majority of the other guests in the house were very nice and very friendly. A great way to meet new and interesting people visiting DC! My main concern with this stay was that I was unable to feel completely relaxed and comfortable. A few issues that occurred: the main door to the house was left unlocked on several occasions, the kitchen is quite obviously too small for a full house of 7-8 people, and additional guests and smoking occurred both of which were not allowed via the house rules. Rocky was responsive and cordial but unable to resolve these issues at hand. Additionally, the oven wasn't hooked up until my third week and there's no central A/C only window units in the bedrooms, so it was quite miserable unless you were in your room. Thus, I decided to cancel my stay here a month and a half short and find other accommodations for the rest of my visit in DC.

This is an okay place to stay in a great location. The room was fine. That said, there are some issues that really need addressing: - There's no way to adjust the radiator in each room so the rooms can get *extremely* hot - The cold-water water-pressure is non-existent on the second floor, so you basically can only take scalding hot showers - The kitchen stove/oven is in real need of being replaced I would recommend staying for a couple days for the location but this isn't a good extended-stay option.

You're gonna love this place if you like to be in the central area of the city. The building is a bit old, but it has everything you need, and it's very comfortable. (just need some improvement on the kitchen, though). My long stay was pretty good overall, and Rocky was a great host. He's super nice and really cares about the guests. If I come to D.C., I'll definitely choose Rocky's place again.
