A beautiful cottage surrounded by wonderful gardens and bird life. Very peaceful and relaxing for a short break away. Local restaurant was awesome too as was the Lyttelton Market on Saturdays. Everything we needed for a great stay.

This was our second stay at Rosies - we will probably return again. Lovely and quiet location, beautiful views of the watefront and Port hills and great places to walk. A short trip into Lyttelton to visit the market and cafes. A really refreshingly relaxing Easter weekend.

My husband and I have lived on this property, 'Ribbonwood' for the past 45 years. We built the main house and over the years created a very special garden setting near the water. I am a writer, and work from home and a garden enthusiast. Mark is a forestry ecology professional. He has helped create the tree filled landscapes on the property and in the surrounding bay area. He is also an enthusiastic owner and sailer of his traditional boats in the Lyttleton harbour.
