Our home is a beautifully renovated Victorian terrace house which easily sleeps 6 adults and kids. Only 10 minutes from Sydney CBD, Darling Harbour, Circular Quay & all its attractions. 10 minutes from Sydney’s Kingsford Smith Airport Only minutes from Creative Hubs Precinct 75, Newtown & Marrickville and their countless pubs/bars/cafes. 20 minutes from tourist attractions such as Bondi & Coogee. Located at the end of the street is Sydenham Train Station, one of Sydneys main train stations *HOUSE FEATURES* The perfect setting for a business trip, family vacation, long or short visit.... Our Oasis by the City is a double brick 1880s single story terrace house which was recently renovated to restore its original beauty with added modern comforts. In the first bedroom we have a gorgeous double bed with under bed storage, built in wardrobes and a beautifully restored victorian decorative marble fireplace. Along with the wardrobes there is also a beautiful set of drawers for you to store all your clothes and items in. Our second bedroom is fitted out with a huge queen bed which is super comfy! In here is also where you will find out “work from home” station. Desk, chair, monitor, power, ethernet…..everything you could possibly need to ensure you don’t miss a beat! We also have a cabinet full of toys, board games, figurines., dolls etc…. The kids will easily spend hours playing with this huge array of toys, puzzles, boardgames, video games, books ect. The bathroom has a large freestanding bathtub with separate walk in shower. All hot water in the house is temperature controlled via an electronic keypad, so you can set the hot water to your liking. The bathroom has a huge electronic skylight and underfloor heating to keep you nice and warm all year round! Included in the bathroom are complimentary toiletries consumables you are welcome to use such as tooth paste, body wash, shampoo, conditioner etc... In the livingroom there is a 4 seater sofa which converts into a queen sized sofa bed. Along with a state of the art 65” Samsung Smart TV with all the apps you require! There is a split cycle air conditioning unit for both heating and cooling should you need it. The full sized kitchen with its federation style cabinets and thick stone bench top really make this house a home away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped with European appliances including oven, gas cook top, microwave, french door fridge (with a built in filtered/chilled water & ice) and dishwasher. In the kitchen you will also find a stocked pantry and freezer. Items like pastas, sauces, rice, tuna, spices, milk, tea, coffee, frozen vegetables, fresh produce, fruit etc.. are all yours to consume if you wish. Out onto the huge deck (this is where the magic happens) you'll find a large sun-drenched grassy backyard. On the deck you’ll will find a built in laundry with top of the range washer and condenser dryer, a Dyson Vacuum and a MASSIVE 85” Samsung Smart TV. Our backyard with it’s edible garden and car spot is a rare commodity in Sydney’s Inner West. You’ll enjoy lounging on the deck, watching the sun set behind the warehouse pitched roofs whilst you watch the planes fly overhead. Only 50 metres from our rear roller door is Sydenham Green Parklands. This area is an incredible open space so close to the city and it caters to all ages. It has a Skate Park, Full Sized Basketball Courts, A kids playground, Swings, An outdoor GYM, fully equipped BBQ facilities, a fully fenced off leash dog park and huge open green spaces. Welcome to the always pumping and creative Inner West of Sydney!!! We have free WiFi internet accessible from anywhere in the house and over 2000 movies and TV shows for you to enjoy via PLEX Media Server which are accessible via our Samsung Smart TVs. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: * That this is a No-Smoking house. If you choose to smoke please ensure it is outside on the grassed area. * We will happily consider pets on a case by case basis. We have a relatively large grass filled backyard (for the city) and huge deck area which can happily accommodate pets. We also have a HUGE park which includes a fully fenced dog park nearby. However only small, non-shedding dogs will be considered * Like most of the Inner West of Sydney we are under the flight path. Therefore we occasionally have planes fly overhead for a second or 2 which. * If you are arriving from interstate or overseas and require certain grocery or food items on arrival please contact us prior to your arrival and we can arrange this for a small fee. * We do not accept guests with zero reviews or who have been on Air BnB less than 3 months or guests under the age of 21 years old unless we have spoken to you on the phone the prior to the check in. * We do not under allow parties at the property
