I stayed here for 3 weeks with my 6 month old baby while finishing my thesis and it suited us perfectly. The cottage is very private and quiet, being situated down a small lane way and behind another house. But it’s also in the heart of Brunswick, with basically everything we needed within a short walking distance. The cottage itself was cosy but surprisingly spacious as well. We stayed in the winter during a very chilly cold snap and the heating kept us very warm and snug. The kitchen was well equipped and the hot water pressure in the shower was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. It was so nice to have a garden around us, even in the winter months. Charlotte was very responsive throughout our stay, and I would 100% stay here again! NB. Just a small note that GPS directions sometimes take people to a street around the back so we sometimes found it easier to tell guests/delivery ppl to come to #22 and wait at the gate.

This was my second stay at the cottage and was even better than the first time! Such a convenient location and cosy feel and I felt right at home. Very responsive and accommodating hosts. I hope to be back again!

Charlotte’s place was a great find. An historical cottage with a beautiful courtyard garden including bird bath which was visited regularly by local birds. It’s a quiet oasis in the busy suburb of Brunswick. Close to all the restaurants and services of Lygon st and Sydney rd. A comfortable and stylish interior is hidden behind the rustic exterior. Well heated with all amenities included. An extra day bed for reading and relaxation during the day and lovely blinds to close out all lights at night. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Lovely peaceful cottage in fabulous location, close to cafes, wine bars, restaurants & Sydney St shoppings. Lovely to sit in dappled sunlight on the porch.
