A well-equipped studio apartment with a queen size bed in a beautiful, safe, convenient location - only a few blocks walk to the White House! It's on the first floor - so no steps; very secure, includes a washer/dryer, good sized bathroom, and nice kitchen appliances (including coffee maker and coffee!). There is no view from the windows, as the apartment is in the back of the building and overlooks an alley, but the windows have curtains and blinds and the unit is private, quiet, safe and a prime location in DC, so the lack of a view doesn't matter if you are out most of the day and evening. Doug is a responsive and thoughtful host.

I stayed here during a 4 day business trip. The room was very convenient both to my meetings and the Metro. I also did some exploring in the evenings, all walking. It was perfect.
