The Outer Richmond is a hidden gem in the San Francisco located just north of Golden Gate Park. In some ways this area is a suburban neighborhood amidst a big city. Surrounding the neighborhood:
*To the West is the Pacific Ocean
*To the North the Legion of Honor, Presidio and the Golden Gate Bridge
*To the East is the downtown area of SF
*To the South is the fantastic Golden Gate Park
Golden Gate Park, Land's End Park, the Legion of Honor and Ocean Beach are the highlights of the neighborhood. There is also easy access to an incredible array of restaurants, shops, bars and other incredible SF neighborhoods.
Our favorite beaches are minutes away from our front door:
China Beach (10 minute walk)
Baker Beach (dog friendly and 20 minute walk)

Street parking is easy and readily available, and it is a couple of blocks to the major 01 (California St), 05 (Fulton St) and 38 (Geary Blvd) bus lines. Note: SF Muni buses only take exact change, and the busses with an X are express buses that run to SF's downtown and don't make normal stops.
Uber and Lyft rides are also very easy to hail to get you to your destination.
The Golden Gate bridge is a 10 minute drive and provides easy access to the North Bay and great hiking in the Marin Headlands.
