The stay overall was good. Check in was easy and quick (I got there around 7:00pm). Elevators are decent. The room was tiny but expected for New York City. Everything was clean but the restroom smelled like mildew and seems like they just wipe stuff down with no cleaning products, I could be wrong. The room was quiet and peaceful, the bed was pretty decent. The area was perfect, plenty of restaurants and bars, Central Park just down the street. The thing that everyone talks about and complains about is the so called Urban Fee, I did read about it before booking but $211.47 for three nights is absurd. I booked this hotel because it was somewhat affordable compared to others BUT they have to get you somehow, I guess. Consider that before booking.
The serenity is key.
We stayed at the Arthouse Hotel for a week. Enjoyed our time there. Good vibes, clean room, very comfortable bed and pillows, perfect location with so many cafes and great bakery shops 👍❤️🍰. It is a must for us 😁 we will definitely stay here again when we are back to NYC next time.
Arthouse hotel was ideal for my short stay in New York. It was close to two subway stops making it easy to get in and out of town and to get to the theater. The lobby is charming, the rooms are updated, and it was quiet despite the vibrant area where located. Lovely pastries and coffee in the morning, and checkout was a breeze.
