Excellent place to stay! Great location close to restaurants, subway, Central Park and so much more! Very convenient!

If you’re not a Karen you’ll appreciate this place. It has everything you need, is in a great location, and is half what a basic hotel would cost for a family. There is major construction straight out the windows though, so you’re waking up at 7 and they’re working till 5:30 daily. It’s a huge tower and will not be completed for two years. Many of the other complaints have been addressed, multiple Ac’s, basement door secured, pillows were fine. I’m very allergic to mold and had zero issues in this unit which is commendable given the age of the building. Highlights were location and proximity to two subway lines. You can go straight to Times Square or the financial district within minutes from two different lines.

Walker’s place looks just like the pictures and it was perfectly spacious for our group (especially for a NYC apartment in a great location)! It was clean and his assistant was responsive to our questions and needs. The one MAJOR issue is the address in the listing needs to be updated. We had read this in other reviews but were hopeful it had been fixed. When we got check in instructions, it said to pick up the key from another address and few blocks down. But it did not clarify this was actually the airbnb address. So we got dropped off, went with all our bags to the address, key didn’t work, had to walk back etc. Assistant offered to get us an Uber but by that time we had already started walking back. Simply just update the address in your listing to avoid confusion! (Address in listing is an old check in spot in person that owner does not do anymore). Also note keys were tricky but that’s the building not airbnb. Simple update address and this would have been a perfect experience!

The location of the stay was a major plus point, lots of restaurants around, Central Park and the MET were walkable and both the yellow and green lines were close by. The Airbnb was not as clean as I would have liked. Additionally since the bedrooms were in the basement there was a musty smell due to the low ventilation. The smaller bedroom had a shared door that was locked on both sides, but we could hear some shuffling around late night (made us a little nervous)

Great stay here in the UES! Everything was as expected, it fit all of us perfectly. The location was ideal and within walking distance to the subway and Central Park. Lots of food options around the corner. The only downfall was that the bedrooms got hot on warmer days - only 1 bedroom had a portable AC unit, so if you sleep hot be warned. Other than that, it was a lovely place.
