Hi Reader, I hope you are well. As a note , I'm new to this site so Im still learning about its workings. Its a great prospect that I hope to learn much from , hosting, but also look forward to having the opportunity to give back. I love living in fitzroy, I grew up here and am sure you will too. Just one thing I need to touch on; ... by no means is the house brand spanking new. Its a terrace / cottage thats 150 years young, having undergone some improvents twenty plus years ago , then more recently with gas heating being put in , plus ceiling fans being introduced too. There's a balance I think of old and new in the house. Much like myself , It has loads character, furthermore, the house is ready to welcome guests but for you to enjoy its suurounds fully, please understand it too comes with its quirks. Its a work in progress , and has a bit of a rustic feel to it too, but has good bones. In winter when it rains you can hear it pelt down on the tin roof, While open , nice and airy , some improvements are still needing to be had, but even as is, that wont come at the expense of its guests. Its comfy, clean & hygienic - has a homely feel I hope with each piece having a story. Keep in mind- Being inner city , if doors and windows are left open, a critter may enter - keep this in mind - fly , spider , mouse., bees , lizards, birds. Yes , with nature around us- & with neighbors having pets it can attract them and us too. While critters are not pests to everything or everyone - we try to live in harmony with them-Of course if this makes you too queasy this probably is not the right place for you. I work hard at making sure each stay is better than the last with upgrades and changes undertaken between stays. It's taken me the better part of three years to get it to this standard , I can only imagine that in three more years time , it'll look & feel even nicer. Hosting mostly through other sites - For me , home can be about loved ones, sharing moments and creating new memories. It should be a place to relax, take in and enjoy. A place where you are free to be You. I hope you enjoy being here as much as I do - its the people that have stayed here that have helped make it what it is today- that can only improve with the years. I'm learning and noticing something new each day in the house so its overall a pretty exciting place to be in. Please don't hesitate to reach out , if I can be of any further assistance- I'll do whatever possible to ensure you get the best from this home wherever I can . Lastly & with the busyish life I lead , I still have not had a chance to update both listings accordingly. I promise I will get to it very soon though. (Im talking about my guide books as well. ). Requests are what I'm talking about too. If not sure.. Ask ..whats the worst thst can happen , I'll always try to find an answer , or solution, - I love a bit of a challenge , - I understand also that by learning more about what my guests are looking for earlier, I can be better equipped to handle and take extra care of their needs too.
