Such a cute guest house! Everything was clean, organized, and perfect for a short stay in LA. It was centrally located to where I needed to be. And parking was always very easy to find in the neighborhood. Christine and Jasper are great hosts, highly recommend.
My mother in law really enjoyed her stay at Christine and Jasper’s. The room is thoughtfully designed and great for a weekend stay. She especially loved the outdoor lounging area. She said she would stay again!
Christine (and Jasper) went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The back studio is very thoughtfully designed – my favorite parts were the floor to ceiling glass doors and sheer curtains that make it feel like indoor/outdoor living, while still being private, and the bathroom feels charming but new - a spa-like experience. They are generous people who I am grateful to have found at a time when I had a lot of unexpected logistical things to figure out myself because of moving house. It’s also a short walk to a grocery store, highly rated laundromat, and a couple of yummy restaurants.
The casita is beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with attention to details (like a smart nightlight, nice soap, and hide-away clothes storage) for a very pleasant stay. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet, close to Arroyo Seco Park and Ernest Debs Park (both good for morning runs), and it was easy to visit friends in Highland Park and El Sereno. Christine and Jasper are friendly and welcoming while respecting guests' privacy. I'd come back!

Christine and I are outdoors lovers living in a giant metropolis; so we like to escape from time to time. We are AirBnB hosts ourselves, with a little guest cottage I built in our backyard. We both have service jobs, so hosting came natural; and knowing how much work it can be, we are very respectful of people's property and things. We look forward to exploring your neck of the woods.
