I have to emphasize the unit is the BASEMENT unit which I didn’t notice before booking. The trash cans were put just out of the front door and attracted mosquitoes and flies. The furnitures and items in the room are quite old. It was unacceptable that the blankets and bed sheets from previous tenants were left in the dryer when we arrived. The positive side was: a) it is very close to most of the attractions (about 25 mins walk) b) it was relatively cheaper compared with other options in the area. You might be disappointed but you get what you pay for.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. I would stay here again. It was very easy to walk to the metro station which allowed us to get to all the touristy things. The grocery store was just a very short walk which came in handy. The only negative I had was I felt that whoever cleans could have done a better job. It wasn’t filthy, just the floors and oven needed some attention. Nothing I couldn’t overlook.

The place was okay and had a parking spot. It was near to all the major attractions in DC. So, all in all a nice stay. Just wished the instructions were clear to park the car in back alley and walk all the way to front to get inside the place. Also, the host responded like in one word which was sometimes irritating.
