Places we love to Visit and Eat out:
Plymouth Barbican and The Hoe is historic. The Mayflower steps date back to 1620.
With beautiful views over Plymouth Sound where Sir Francis Drake once stood and a chance to climb Smeaton Tower lighthouse, it is a great place to explore.
Hedgerow Hound, Power Plant Cafe, No Whey, Cosmic Kitchen and Samphire Brasserie are our favourite places to eat out in the Plymouth area. Do check their media for opening times.
Looe is a busy port, with a popular family beach, it has been a favourite holiday destination since Victorian times, picturesque coastal walks and on the lowest tide, you can even walk across to Looe Island.
Kind Cafe is a great place to stop for food whilst in Looe. From wholesome Buddha bowls to indulgent burgers and sundaes the selection of dishes has something for everyone.
Truro is Cornwalls only City, it hosts a Gothic-Revival Cathedral and is a historic market town. Visits to the Royal Cornwall Museum, trips down to the River Fal and a lovely shopping area.
The Cornish Vegan is a wonderful, award-winning restaurant which we love to visit in Truro.
Bodmin Moor is historic for the Tin mining industry. Dramatic granite tors rise from the rolling moorland: the best known are Brown Willy, the highest point in Cornwall at 417m and Rough Tor at 400m.
Huckleberries in Bodmin town is a lovely place to stop in and eat on your way through.
Wadebridge, one of North Cornwall's main market towns and gateway to the Camel Trail, is now the third-largest attraction in the whole of Cornwall.
Beares Pantry is a cosy place to refuel yourself after cycling the Camel Trail in Wadebridge
Tintagel is a remarkable place to venture, offering mythical tales of King Arthur and learning about the history of the Castle. With stunning North Cornish Coastal walks, you can take the day to experience hidden gems like 'St Nectans Glen'.
Vega is the perfect place to get delicious food whilst visiting Tintagel and 50% of their profits go to animal sanctuaries.
Dartmoor holds endless possibilities. Ponies roam its craggy landscape, defined by forests, rivers, wetlands and tors. Trails wind through valleys with Neolithic tombs, Bronze Age stone circles and abandoned medieval farmhouses. The area is dotted with villages, including Princetown, home to Dartmoor Prison used during the Napoleonic Wars
RedPod serves wholesome food near Ivybridge, set inside an old Clay Factory.
Whitsand Bay host our closest beaches. Glorious coastal walks and water activities, we love this area. Kingsands and Cawsands are beautiful, seaside twinned villages. A brilliant walk to Rame Head, the first Peninsula into Cornwall.
