Suzanne is an incredible host and made me feel right at home as soon as I arrived. Her house is in a beautiful part of the city and had all of the amenities that I needed or wanted during my stay. She was extremely communicative, always friendly, and makes everyone feel welcome during their stay. A wonderful stay, and highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Suzanne’s place enough. I had an absolutely wonderful month in the garden cabin, and was made to feel completely at home. It was lovely to have the added privacy of being in the garden if that’s what you looking for, but wouldn’t hesitate to recommend either of the indoor rooms either. Suzanne and her two children (happened to be around during my stay) were always incredibly welcoming and keen to have a chat, provide local advice, and if they were available even drive you there themselves. The house is very homely, and it felt like a second home straight away. The kitchen and bathroom are a great size for sharing with the other guests. We had the occasional group meal, which meant it was easy to get to know the other guests staying inside. Suzanne was also always accommodating to my annoying vegan eating habits. My stay was only for a short trip, but if I were moving permanently/long-term I couldn’t have picked a better place to start getting settled in Auckland.

Very nice and comfortable place to stay close to shops and cafes. The room out the back is suitable for people working remotely and Suzanne is very helpful and welcoming.
