Simons was a great place to stay. Clean, convenient, friendly staff, and right in the heart of the city. Great location for walkability to historical sites. Would recommend to friends and would definitely stay here again.
The room is just as shown in the photos. It's clean, but be advised that the building is quite old. It is spacious enough for one person but could feel a bit tight for a couple. It is situated in a great location. I’d suggest cleaning the entranceway as it is stained with dog urine. I can’t emphasize enough the importance of a clean entrance as it is the first experience of the stay.

Stayed here for work and was able to easily walk to events downtown. The space was nice, clean, and comfortable! Would definitely stay here again.
A great stay at The Ledger! A beautiful building with great rooms. Everything you could need. We loved the common area in The Lounge, we played pool while waiting for laundry. Loved That there was so much in walking distance. Wish we would've found this before our last day. Would definitely stay here again.

Philadelphia, one of the country’s most walkable cities, is incredibly easy to navigate either by foot or by public transportation. That just leaves one question: Where to park the car?
On-Street Parking
Philadelphia has thousands of metered spots throughout the city, perfect if you only plan to park for an hour or two.
A parking lot across the street charges about $25/day.
Be sure to read all parking signs very carefully before leaving your car to avoid ticketing and towing during hours in which parking may be prohibited.
They are plenty of paid long-term parking options nearby too. A good resource is the online parking locator.
For moving around, you'll also find several bus stops, bike ride-sharing stations, and subway stations.
Otherwise, we recommend moving around the city using uber or lyft - its fairly affordable & we'd be happy to share discount codes with you!
