An oasis that is a stone’s throw away from the city. Close to some gems restaurant/cafe wise too. Very thoughtful touches in the cabin, warm and a place that I would happily call home. Would love to return!

Penelope was flexi able and helpful with us arriving later at night and had left an outside light on as well as clear instruction as to where to find the key. She had also put a heater on so the room was warm and cosy. She provided homemade muesli and toast, butter and honey for breakfast alongside the usual tea, coffee and fresh milk. Although we were aware there wouldn’t be a smoke or gas alarm, we wondered given that the gas bottle was inside to heat water and for cooking if it would be prudent to install one. We did turn the gas off at the bottle overnight but some people might not think of doing that. Over all a great place to stay and a very convenient location. Thanks Penelope.

We had a lovely time at Penelope's. Would definitely come back to watch some more sunrises from the bed.
