John was a really wonderful and thoughtful host. He and his wife live next door and are very welcoming and friendly! The place was neat and exactly as advertised. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely, and a very easy walk to pickle-ball courts and perhaps the best authentic Italian pizza I've ever eaten! (Pulcinella's) We stayed in the lower unit which does have a limited view, compared to the upper unit (and if there are people upstairs, it can be quite noisy in the lower unit if they have little ones running laps). The local ants (little sugar ants) had attempted to stage a full-scale assault on the bathroom at one point but John came right over when we mentioned it and he took care of them, which gave us a chance to chat with him at length... which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! SO -- we consider the ants a bonus! :) If we find ourselves in Seattle again, we'll start our AirBnB search here for sure!

John stopped by to meet us and was very helpful in answering our questions. We stayed in the lower cabin. Beautiful view of the lake from the garden!

We had a fantastic stay at this place. We enjoyed the lake view everyday. John made all the arrangements that a family needs. Thanks to him. Just go for it, you won’t regret.
