Dear Airbnb Searchers, We offer self check-in. But ideally I will be here to let you in. Street parking is pretty easy to find. (I provide visitor permits for $10/day). A visitor permit is needed Mon. - Fri. from 10am - 5pm. On Thursdays you shouldn't park on our side, there will be street cleaning. No permit needed on weekends/holidays. I understand that you may have concerns about staying in someone else's home.  I want to assure you that our home will be a safe space for you to enjoy. The 2nd floor bedroom and bathroom are completely private.   The hall is shared by everyone. There are two sets of stairs you will encounter. Outside, up to the front door. And inside, up to the 2nd floor. The house is old and a bit worn around the edges but loved! The front entrance is shared by me, my husband, our tenant (who lives on the 3rd floor in a self-contained apartment), and our Airbnb guests. We have seating in our gated courtyard in front of the house. It's a nice place to enjoy morning coffee or an evening cocktail while you enjoy the local scene!          Your room has a queen-size bed in a light filled room. There is a full-sized bed in the alcove for additional guests. A closet and convenient dresser provide space for your belongings. There is NO SMOKING or VAPING allowed in the house. Amenities provided in your private bathroom: Linens, towels, soap/shampoo (and detergent should you want to use the washer/dryer). Also for your use: WiFI and cable T.V. Though we can't offer kitchen access, there is microwave, toaster, coffee making supplies, cutlery, glasses, plates, bowls and a mini-fridge in the bathroom. A key to your room gives you privacy, the bathroom locks from the inside and is for your exclusive use. My sewing studio is the on the same floor, but the bathroom is yours alone! My husband Tom and I live on the ground and 1st (parlor) floor and both of us work from home. Everyone, including the tenant on the 3rd floor uses the front door as the entrance to the house. There is one cat, Fat Eddie, who has access to all the public spaces. He is friendly, quiet, and not demanding! He does not visit the second floor except by invitation!
