We had the best experience, and I highly recommend Tara's place! The suite is beautiful and quiet. We found some unexpected and so thoughtful details like the welcome note, the bathrobes, the chocolate and the fresh fruit. Tara is amazing!! we will come back.

Wow! Tara’s place is truly magical. We had plans to explore upon arrival but the room was so serene, comfortable, and peaceful that we ended up taking a nap immediately lol, we felt refreshed and ready to explore afterwards. The location is incredibly convenient to restaurants, coffee shops, and public transportation. Tara is thoughtful and kind, every detail is thought of. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Tara is a truly fantastic host, perhaps the best I've ever had through AirBnb. The room had many thoughtful touches like fruit, snacks, and cold drinks upon arrival and Tara was very easy to communicate with. The room itself was very open and airy despite being on the lower level of their unit. We didn't hear any noise upstairs either, and the whole space felt very private and separate. This is a great place to stay and centrally located in the city-- as a bonus, the parking was also incredibly easy! We always found a free spot right out front, even when coming and going throughout the day.

This stay was extremely comfortable , clean, and quiet. Located about a 10 minute walk to a bart station - I was able to comfortably travel from the airport with one bus transfer, and to Chinatown. Castro is a safe and welcoming town for first timers. Tara herself was very warm, knowledgeable, and readily available. It was my first time renting a stand alone “room” where the owners were also in the home - and Tara made it feel very safe and private. I never ran into her or her family aside from check in, but would not have minded if I did! You’ll have your own freedom to come/leave as you wish. I especially appreciated her help checking in my bags early while I went exploring!

Great room, perfect for a couple or couple with a kid. Two sinks in the bathroom is nice. Host was great, with refilled fruit basket. 10min walk to the top of the Castro.
