The location of the apartment is convenient: a 5-min walk to the subway as well as to the grocery store. Plenty restaurants around and a laundromat nextdoor. However it is on a busy street, which the bedroom overlooks, and it can get noisy. The apartment looks like the pictures but the furniture can feel a bit worn at times. We had minimal communication with the host but overall it was a good stay.

We loved Aleksander’s apartment, which was perfect for a long-term stay. The subway was a few minute’s walk away and there were lots of shops and restaurants close by. The apartment was just as pictured, with a good kitchen and bathroom, lots of room for clothes storage in the bedroom, a large living area, and a laundromat just next door. Aleksander was responsive to any queries we had. We would definitely stay again!

I stayed at this location for nearly seven months. It met all my needs. The location was perfect for where I needed to be during the time. There is a laundry service located conveniently downstairs that is reasonably priced as well as plenty of grocery stores with good options. Overall I have no crucial complaints outside of the normal NYC living situations we all face. The host wasn't bothersome which is something I appreciate. You have to be good at street parking if you have a car with you, again, just normal NYC living nuances. I would recommend it and would also book here again if I need to be in the Bay Ridge area in the future. Thanks Aleksander.

The place is exactly how it shows in the picture, with an addition of a table for work and movable reck to hang cloths. Aleksander is very responsive, welcoming and kind! On the first night we experienced wifi dropping issue. After informing him he responded immediately and fixed in on the next day and after that never had any issue (we stayed for 48days). Wifi speed was good enough to work from home. The place was clean and spacious and equipped with enough essentials. The area is pretty safe. Filled with many eating places, grocery stores, pharmacies..basically everything you need you will find in walking distance. The Verrazano bridge was like in 15 mins walking distance. Walking beside the river with the view of the bridge was very calming and peaceful! For the people who are bringing car, you will need to do street parking which I found a big hassle. Finding a spot and park and then tracking for cleaning days since I had to move the car from that spot on a specific time and again finding a spot and park was very frustrating and time consuming. This is actually the case for most places in New York. However, I ended up buying a monthly pass in a public parking located at 5th ave and 86th street. Cost me $225. However, R train is literally in 3 mins walking distance. So for public transportation the place is very convenient.
