Located in between gare de l'est and nord, this place is perfect for short stays for when you have a quick layover. While the music on the weekend coming from the bar downstairs can be heard, it wasn't an issue for me. Friendly staff that speak French and English.

Bought very last minute - literally hours before check-in for an impromptu trip to Paris. I thought it was good value for money. You cannot expect a service comparable to staying in a hotel or someone's home from a hostel where you share rooms. But the room and toilet were clean and the sheets and towels were changed daily. My advice 1. You can risk leaving your belongings in the cages - provided you bring a lock. Alternatively you'll have to pay for separate locker space. It's probably best to travel light enough that you are comfortable carrying your belongings with you around Paris. 2. Don't pay for breakfast. You're in Paris and close enough to plenty of artisan bakeries, such as Du Pain et des Idées. Get your breakfast there instead.
