Richard’s airbnb is surrounded by his beautiful garden. It was truely quite spectacular sitting under the big gum trees at the tiny house porch. The pool area is such a lovely addition. Bandit the dog was our absolute highlight. He bought us his bunny toy to see and would bang on the door with his two front paws when he wanted to be let in. Richard was very lovely and easy to chat to. There is a lovely skylight over the bed that you can watch the birds through of a morning but bring an eye mask if you have trouble sleeping in light conditions. Thanks you Richard!

What a wonderful place in my favorite part of La! I grew up in highland park and south pas and it was the most magical little spot to visit while in town again! The bed was really comfy, the garden was like a section of the Huntington gardens, and being allowed to use the pool was such a special and fun treat! Thank you so so much!

This place was so cute and in a great location. Super cozy and lots of character. The host was responsive & helpful. They also have a cute dog named bandit that came and said hi to us a few times. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone coming to stay in LA for a long weekend. The only thing I would note is an EV charger is listed as an amenity on the listing but we were told we needed to pay for charging after using the charger for a night. Not a huge deal since charging is cheap but just something to be aware of if you are driving an electric car!

Richard’s home is a gem, especially if you are into architectural history and cool decor. It is a true oasis, I only wish we were staying when it was warmer to jump in the pool. Very clean and clear instructions throughout!
