Very clean apartment in a small neighborhood. Right near the Place de la République metro. Dishwasher and clothes washer. Marco is a wonderful host, friendly and responsive.

Positives: the apartment is located in a SUPER neighborhood--close to metro and buses at Republique and the lovely Canal St. Martin. Marco and team are friendly and very responsive. Being on the first floor means you can watch the world walk by from your window. The kitchen is very tiny but functional-- electric stove/oven and nice espresso machine. Heaters work well. Master bath nicely modernized. Plenty of hot water with good pressure. Master bed comfy and quiet. Good clothes washer. Overall, we were happy for 2 months. Less positive: the apartment simply is older and the layout makes it feel smaller and less bright than the photos suggest (we felt it necessary to keep bedroom curtains closed for privacy). The second bedroom might be tough for light sleepers due to bistro noise. Furniture in the photos mostly matches what is there. The red couch now has plain pillows and is worn and lumpy. The toilet room is so tiny that you probably shouldn't plan on shutting the door for privacy.

Perfect location: lifely but not too noisy, there are many great restaurants and cafe nearby. Supermarkets, boulangeries, Orange, pharmacies etc. It is also within walking distance to Marais, Belleville and Opera. The apartment itself has enough space for a family of four, cozy and has comfortable beds. Will definitely stay there again

So grateful for our 2 month stay in this lovely apartment. Super convenient and easy to everything we need. Moments to main train stations and metro and bus line. Noise from ground floor restaurants took awhile to adjust to but added to the wonderful atmosphere of Parisian life. Fantastic host super responsive. Thank you.
