~THE NEIGHBORHOOD~
The apartment is located in a very energetic and multicultural area. It is a short walk (5 min) away from Piazzale Loreto and Central Station.
On foot you can easily reach the shopping street, Corso Buenos Aires.
The district is residential and very international. The building is part of a square with a garden. It is a nice place where you can take a break from work or relax after a long day exploring Milan. If you want to take a tour of the neighborhood, you will notice it is an area with a variety of ethic restaurants. In the square in front of the building you can find restaurant that makes food from Sri Lanka, an Italian pizzeria and a typical Italian caffe. On the main street, Viale Monza, there are many clothing stores, laundry mats , supermarkets (Carrefour 20 meters), grocers and other bars and restaurants. The district is very easy to reach from other parts of the city. There is the subway line 1 at the intersection with Viale Monza.

L'appartamento si trova in un quartiere molto dinamico e multiculturale. E' ad un passo da Piazzale Loreto e Stazione Centrale.
A piedi si raggiunge facilmente la via dello Shopping, Corso Buenos Aires.
Il quartiere e' residenziale ed e' frequentato non solo da italiani. Il palazzo da' su una piazza con un giardino dove e' possibile prendersi una pausa da lavoro o dopo una giornata a visitare Milano. Se vorrai fare un giro del quartiere, potrai notare che e' una zona con molti ristoranti multietnici. Nella piazza di fronte al palazzo puoi trovare ristorante che fa cucina dello Sri Lanka, un ristorante pizzeria italiano e un bar tipico italiano. Sulla via principale, Viale Monza, ci sono molti negozi di abbigliamento, lavanderie, supermercati (Carrefour 20 metri), fruttivendoli e altri bar e ristoranti. Il quartiere e' molto comodo da raggiungere essendoci la metropolitana linea 1 all'incrocio con Viale Monza.

~GETTING AROUND~
Milan is a very walkable city. The neighborhood is only a 10 minute metro ride from the center of everything (4 stops to the Palestro metro Station). Without traffic, you can get downtown in a taxi in 10 minutes as well.
Metro (Subway) - Red metro line (MM1) direction Bisceglie:
- 4 stops to get to Palestro Station (you can find the Park, several Museums and historical buildings)
-5 stops to get San Babila Station (you can find Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga called 'the quadrilateral of fashion').
-6 stops to get Duomo (you can find all of the most interesting attractions like the Cathedral, the Gallery and several Museums).
To get a taste of nightlife in Milan, you have a few options.
There are two main areas for nightlife.
-Brera District - one stop to Loreto; transfer to the green metro line (MM2) and get off at Moscova or Lanza in the direction of either Abbiategrasso or Assago.
-Navigli District - one stop to Loreto; transfer to the green metro line (MM2) and get off at Sant Ambrogio and take the Bus number 94 in the direction Moscova and get off after 2 stops at Colonne di San Lorenzo Station.
Or if you like to walk you can easily get to Navigli from Duomo (15-20min), just walking down to Via torino, arrive at Colonne di San Lorenzo, continue on the same street and you will be in Piazza 24 Maggio, where the Canals begin.
-NIGHT BUS
The metro closes at 12:30 pm. If you are planning to stay out later than 12:30 pm, you can use the bus MM1 that substitutes the metro MM1 and you can take it from Duomo.
