Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Wochenende in Stánas Cottage! Es ist alles im Haus vorhanden, was man benötigt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind eher mit dem Auto erreichbar, weil es sich das Cottage im Wald befindet (nächster Ort ca.15 min entfernt). Daher kann man ausgiebige Spaziergänge machen. Zudem ist das Cottage auch sehr kinderfreundlich. Es ist viel Spielzeug/allgemeine Spiele (auch für Erwachsene) vorhanden. Das Highlight, neben der Sauna, war definitiv der Whirlpool, welcher sich perfekt zum Ausklingen des Tages eignet!

We had a wonderful few days at this house in the woods. It's incredibly peaceful and the birdsong is just amazing. The house backs right onto the woods where you can go walking for hours. On the other sides of the house there are cottages, but you don't feel overlooked and we weren't overly aware of people being around. The hot tub and sauna are fantastic! Stana was very helpful and responded quickly to messages. We didn't have a car so got a Bolt from the airport which wasn't too expensive. The nearest shop is a 15 min walk but Stana very kindly bought us some bits to tide us over until we could get there. There are snacks, drinks, coffee etc available in the cottage but you need to purchase them. If you want a relaxing break, this is the perfect place.

AMAZING place to get away and still see Prague. We so loved retreating to Stana’s cozy cabin at the end of each day. This is the best place for a mix of outdoor activity/city sightseeing/children’s activities/restorative relaxation. We wanted to visit Prague and it was about a 40-45 minute drive. (You can also take public transit.) We have two small children so this was perfect. We all loved being able to just go out the door to the sandbox, playhouse, and grilling area. There is also an outdoor fire pit. You can hear the stream gurgling from the backyard and easily walk or ride to a great bike path. There is also a cute farm a 20 minute walk away. Retreating to the cozy wood fire place at the end of the day was the best. Our kids loved all the toys in the playroom inside and we loved being able to use the sauna and hot tub once they were asleep. Stana brought us delicious baked goods when we arrived and couldn’t have been more welcoming with lots of recommendations.
