Finished with the highest quality materials and impeccably furnished, this unique, homely villa was cleverly designed with all rooms opening out to the private, tropical garden and pool where the only thing you can hear is the sound of the surf. Guests have complete, exclusive access to the whole villa comprising the spacious bedrooms with beautiful en-suite bathrooms. The rooms all face out to the tropical gardens and pool. There are homely indoor and outdoor living areas and a lovely semi-open kitchen. Two convenient outdoor showers are at the villa to wash the sand off when coming back from a surf, swim or stroll at the beach. Please note, when only one or two bedrooms are being used, the other bedrooms will be locked. In this situation, guests still have exclusive access to the remainder of the villa, including garden, pool and kitchen as well as the upstairs and downstairs living and dining areas. Thus, Hidden Villa is equally ideal for: - couples/honeymooners, who may only want to take the Master bedroom but still have exclusive access to the rest of the villa; - families of three or four guests, who may only need the Master bedroom plus one or two other bedrooms; or - larger parties of up to 8 guests who may need all four, spacious en-suite bedrooms. However, should guests wish to be more engaged, we love sharing our enthusiasm about the area and about things to do in Bali. We live in Jakarta and will be easily contactable. We can also help arrange transport, babysitters, scooter hire, surf school, cooking classes, spa treatments and excursions etc. We have a supervisor, two housekeeping staff, a handyman and two security guards who all work at both Hidden Villa and at Hidden River Cottage (please see our other listing). The staff will be on hand to welcome you to Hidden Villa, to clean the rooms, prepare breakfast and assist if there are any problems/requests. The villa is very close to the surf in Pantai Nelayan (Fisherman's Beach), Canggu. The surf school at Batu Bolong is a short walk away, or go a little further to enjoy Echo Beach. Our nearest cafes and restaurants are at the end of our lane and the vibrant hustle and bustle of all the cafes, restaurants and bars of Jalan Nelayan and Batu Bolong can also be reached on foot. Guests can walk to the beach and the nearest cafe/warung within two minutes. Many other attractions and places to eat and drink are also within a short stroll away. To explore the rice fields and Balinese villages of Canggu we recommend renting a scooter or two. We can arrange this for you. We can also help you hire taxis or rent a car (and driver) for short trips or longer excursions. We can also help arrange airport pick-ups and drop-offs. Please contact us for details. Hidden Villa is great for couples and groups of friends but is also an ideal haven for active families. We have high chairs and cots in the villa as well as various board games and toys for the children. We also have a stroller and various inflatables for use in the pool. There is a safety box in three of the four bedrooms and cable TV is provided in two of the bedrooms. Please note the usual rate is US$250/night (or the equivalent in your local currency) and is for a maximum of two guests, before Air BnB add their commission. Additional guests are US$50/per night per guest - again, before Air BnB adds commission. Thus, the usual price before Air BnB commission is: One or two guests - USD 250/night Three guests - USD 300/night Four guests - USD 350/night Five guests - USD 400/night Six guests - USD 450/night Seven guests - USD 500/night Eight guests - USD 550/night For the periods 31 March 2018 to 2 April 2018, 24 July 2018 to 2 September 2018 and 22 December 2018 to 5 January 2019, there is also a peak season surcharge of USD 100 per night in Hidden Villa. Thus, the minimum price (1 or 2 guests) in Hidden Villa during these peak periods is USD 350 per night, again before Air BnB adds its commission. The price can be lower on the Air BnB system if you are booking at the last minute. Children aged two or under are free. Indonesian (nasi or mie goreng) or English (eggs, bacon, toast, fresh fruit juice, tea/coffee, fresh fruit) breakfast is provided in the price as is daily room cleaning. Linen and towels are provided and are changed every three days. For personal laundry, there is a cheap and convenient service in the village. We can help organise that for you. As mentioned above under "Guest access", unoccupied bedrooms will be locked for small parties. For example, if only the Master bedroom is needed, and only one or two guests are booked, the other three bedrooms will be locked. Please also note, we do not have a back-up generator. This generally isn't a problem as power cuts are quite rare. We've only experienced two power cuts in the last 12 months. A totally self-contained, two-level Hidden River Cottage, with its own plunge pool, garden, kitchenette, spacious living area and bathroom adjoins Hidden Villa. The cottage can either be rented separately as a 1-bedroom sanctuary or together with Hidden Villa to make a beautiful five-bedroom home away from home.
