I spent a few night at this place. Sonder is a group of buildings in multiple cities, more like apartments to rent. You won't see a host or a local person. It feels like a hotel and not someone's house. I didn't like that part. Secondly and most importantly, I had sent several messages about my arrival but I didn't get any codes or instructions about how to opens doors or which room I'm in. I had mentioned that I'll arrived between 9 pm to 10 pm and I was told it's fine and I'll receive codes to enter a room. At 10pm I got to the address and there was no one there!!! I had not received any codes and I didn't know if I had a room or not. I sent a message but I got no response! I had to call customer service with my expensive roaming service to follow up and only then they gave me a code to enter a room. Really bad experience there. The location is nice and them room was not noisy. However the sheets were stained and it made an unpleasant stay.
