Our lovely spacious apartment is part of a city centre Category A Listed building from the Georgian period in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town. The area dates from the 18th Century and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. All around you are cobbled streets, beautiful Georgian architecture and plenty of great cafes, bars and restaurants. It’s a very safe and quiet area, and just a short walk to the mediaeval Old Town, and to the lovely adjoining local neighbourhood of Stockbridge. Our apartment is a spacious home away from home in the very centre of the city, and perfect for relaxing and for visiting Edinburgh’s most famous sites and attractions. The apartment is full of character, and retains beautiful original stone features and arches throughout, in keeping with much of Edinburgh’s historic architecture. It has been fully modernised. The apartment contains : • Two large and beautiful double bedrooms, each with a king size bed and a walk in wardrobe • A fully equipped Riddle and Coghill kitchen • A cosy sitting room area • An atmospheric dining room area • A stylish Soho Style bathroom with a bath and shower There is a High Definition TV in the sitting room with a choice of c 200 channels to enjoy. The TV is also enabled for Netflix and the other principal streaming services. For wifi needs you will have free access to a very fast broadband service (100 Mbps). A secure locked storage facility is available for luggage if required for guests arriving early or checking out late.

Our stay at Martin’s was one of our best ever on AirB&B! A lovely space in a great part of town. We really enjoyed Stockbridge’s shops and eateries!

The apartment was very nice, it was comfortable and in a good walking distance from everything we wanted to see/do. The host Martin was especially welcoming, he was very helpful and nice. We liked everything about this place and would recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh :)

Look no further! Stay here if it’s available for your trip to Edinburgh. The apartment is in a fantastic location. You can walk to everything. Very accessible yet very quiet and comfortable location. It is a huge two bedroom apartment plenty of interior space, wonderful Interne.The host Martin, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve been using Airbnb for years and this is the first time I’ve ever found the kitchen filled with coffee ,eggs, cereal, milk, butter,jelly etc… just to get you started on the morning. This was so fantastic as we were getting up early every morning to run out and tour. It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture that made a huge impression on us. Added bonus there is a grocery store on the same block! It was so convenient to stop by and buy a bottle of wine and snacks as we came back from a day of touring. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Edinburgh. I’d give more than five stars if I could.

From the apartment all central locations and attractions are very easily accessible on foot. You are about 5 minutes walk away from Princes Street, the principal shopping street in Edinburgh, and 10 minutes walk to the mediaeval Old Town and Edinburgh Castle.
If you are visiting Edinburgh during the Festival in the summer or the Christmas / New Year (Hogmanay) festivities in the winter all the main venues for these events are based centrally and can be easily reached from the apartment on foot.
If you are travelling elsewhere within the city or outside there are excellent bus, tram and taxi services. We would be happy to assist you with planning any journeys that may be of interest.
We are also happy to help with any travel guidance that you may require to get to the apartment from the airport, train or bus station, or from any other point, and to help with parking planning if required. If you are coming by car please note that there is no long stay parking near the apartment.
