Kennington lies between the lively Southbank with its theatres, galleries, bars and restaurants, and the LGBTQ area of Vauxhall with its bars and clubs. A short walk across Lambeth Bridge to Tate Britain Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament and Trafalgar Square, 15 minutes by bus to Brixton.
Kennington Road has some good pubs and restaurants and cafes, the Doghouse and the Hercules have craft beers and good atmosphere. 10 minutes walk to Lower March where there are excellent coffee shops and and shops and restaurants this leads to The Cut and the Old and Young Vic theatres also many good restaurants at a range of prices.
5 minute walk to the Imperial War Museum 5 minute walk to Archbishops Park and Museum of Garden history, with very good cafe. There are a number of parks and open spaces nearby.

We are a 10 minute walk to Lambeth North tube and 15 minutes to Vauxhall tube and mainline trains. Excellent public transport links: Bakerloo, Northern and Victoria tube lines; Vauxhall and Waterloo mainline stations within walking distance.
Good connections with a many bus routes near by. Inside congestion zone, street parking, tickets needed for Monday – Friday, tickets available for replacement cost.
There is one of London's public cycle hire scheme, Santander Cycles docking stations across the road from the house - £2 bike hire per day (*Please note: cycle helmets are not compulsory in the UK, but about 90% of cyclists choose to wear them).
