Ellen’s place was very nice. We enjoyed the private garden and is within walking distance to many restaurants and things to do. Bed was super comfortable and the location was safe and quiet. Highly recommend.

Loved place. Ellen supplied some basics and details of nearby supermarket. Patio/garden was great. Bathroom v workable. Shower excellent. Restaurants in Little Italy are close but walking home.... it is called Russian Hill 🙂

Ellen’s place was a tranquil retreat in a lovely area of San Francisco. The apartment is well equipped and very private. We thoroughly enjoyed the private garden terrace with beautiful views over the bay. We were also thrilled to see a hummingbird in the garden. San Francisco is very hilly so be prepared for steep climbs. There is a Farmer Joe grocery store not too far away. For those who enjoy third wave coffee, Beacon is a 6 minute walk and St Frank is 10 minutes. Ellen very kindly did a load of washing for us during our stay and communicated clearly.

Ellen was a great host, very communicative, and helpful. The apartment is in an ideal location, near the top of Russian Hill within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and many San Francisco sights. Public transportation is around the corner, making the entire City accessible. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a nice private patio and views of the Bay. All in all a very pleasant stay and would recommend the apartment for a visit to the City.
