Though it’s set on a leafy, residential cul-de-sac, this contemporary vacation rental is only a few minutes’ walk from Camps Bay and its beach, and a few minutes’ drive from highlights like Table Mountain and the city center. The architect-designed interiors and four suite-style bedrooms can be shared by up to eight guests.
Unwind in the shadow of Lion’s Head on private terraces with loungers and a pool, and alfresco dining for ten. Watch the stars come out over the mountains from the outdoor living areas or finish the evening inside around the TV and sound system, sharing photos of your day via Wi-Fi.
Sliding glass doors link the open-concept great room of Blinkwater Villa to the terraces for stunning views of the bay and hills. Sleek contemporary furnishings give the living and dining areas a feel of modern luxury, and, in the fully equipped kitchen, you’ll find stylishly minimal cabinets along with a practical breakfast bar and state-of-the-art appliances.
The villa’s four bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, are well suited to groups of friends or extended family on holiday together. There are three with king beds and one with a queen bed; all open to terraces or a courtyards that have been thoughtfully landscaped with indigenous plants.
Nestled between Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean, Camps Bay is one of Cape Town’s trendiest areas—and Blinkwater Villa is in the heart of it. It’s only a 4-minute walk to the beach, which is popular with locals and visitors alike, and 10 minutes to the downtown area, where you can browse unique shops, grab a coffee at a hip new spot or book a honeymoon-worthy dinner at an oceanfront restaurant. With Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, the Twelve Apostles and central Cape Town all less than 15 minutes away by car, you’ll have no trouble exploring this vibrant city.
