Completely off grid however with all of today’s modern comforts. Enjoy the night sky and bush surrounds, have a soak in the outdoor bath which boasts perhaps the best view in the New England. It’s a great base to explore from, with local walks on the property or longer walks in the National Park.

Wide verandahs and double glazed sliding doors connect inside and out, providing excellent insulation with air conditioning to supplement. With an elevated outlook over a rural setting, Burgess house is surrounded by native birds and bushland. Being 5 minutes drive to the CBD and 8 minutes drive to UNE, it is a quiet retreat that is close to everything.

Set behind my working art studio, the original house has been lovingly renovated - a comfortable mix of the contemporary and traditional. As you would expect the space is filled with paintings, sculptures, art books and ceramics. For this reason it's not suitable for children under 15. Pop into the studio if you like! The house is walking distance to shops, eateries, etc. Secure parking for all vehicles. Pets welcome on the premises, but not inside the house.

"Reynella" is a restored and well appointed hut with breathtaking views on 100 acres. This charming, light filled hut is a studio (10 minutes from central Armidale) providing a warming space to relax and unwind with a sense of peace and privacy. You can take a stroll down to the river on the property (keep your eyes out for our resident platypus!) or explore the Blue Hole Swimming area and Gara Gorge being a short two minute drive from the hut.
