Our unit is part of a duplex complex on a normally quiet street. Some construction is wrapping up nearby so there may be occasional daytime noise. We take extra care to deep clean + sanitize our unit between visits. Guests have access to 1 designated parking space in a gated driveway. Many windows & vibrant plants provide a bright and airy feel. Lots of natural light comes through in the morning. Our home is ideal for short stays, and business trips. Kindly ensure you read and acknowledge ALL details found in the House Rules section before booking.
Inspired by our world travels, our Airbnb has been thoughtfully designed to help bring guests a little zen. Every single piece in the home has been carefully curated to bring the same feelings of peace, simplicity, and fulfillment we've experienced while traveling.
The unit was recently renovated & all furnishings are new. No one resides in the home on a regular basis. We created this space for the exclusive use of our Airbnb guests. A delightful and fully-equipped *mini kitchen* and cozy living space share one room. Meanwhile, the master bedroom and bathroom have been minimally, but tastefully decorated with many natural/earthy materials to help provide rest and relaxation. Guests really enjoy the vibrant energy of the urban jungle setting we’ve created with all our plant babies.
Our home is great for those in LA on business who may need a place to retreat and re-energize after a long day of meetings, socials and dinners. Tourists and solo travelers who are in LA for a REAL taste of the city and want a restful comfortable place to come home to after a long adventurous day. Or couples on holiday who just want to enjoy the city by day, cozy up at night, and sleep-in in the morning.

Please keep in mind that Koreatown is a diverse urban neighborhood in sprawling Los Angeles. And as a gentle reminder, you’ll be staying in a loving home, not a hotel. We ask that you treat our space with the same respect you would show your own.

Strict NO SMOKING policy enforced in home, on front porch or within property. Out of respect for our neighbors, if a guest must smoke, please kindly take a walk around the block as they don’t appreciate the lingering smell left behind by cigarette smoke.
Our unit is part of a duplex complex meaning walls are shared with the neighbors. Our sweet neighbors are very polite, quiet + respectful but because it’s a duplex, you may occasionally hear them next door.
Our *mini kitchen* is great for light/on-the-go meals. It’s equipped with a sink, mini fridge, induction stovetop, tea kettle, french press, 1 pot, 1 pan and all other basic kitchen supplies. We do not have a microwave, but we do provide complimentary filtered water, coffee, tea, honey, snacks, and oatmeal.
ONE parking space is available for COMPACT cars (ie: Toyota Corolla/Prius, etc.). Message us BEFORE booking if you have a larger vehicle.
We can accommodate a MAXIMUM of 2 guests. Please select correct # of guests when booking. For security and liability reasons, only REGISTERED Airbnb guests are allowed in our home, we ask that you DO NOT bring in any additional visitors. Thank you.
This listing is for your own private living quarters. During your stay, you will enjoy complete privacy as no one will enter your space, but please keep in mind this is part of a duplex complex. A wall, driveway and front porch are shared.
You will have one designated COMPACT parking space in the driveway. It is very important you do not block the neighbors from entering/exiting. And that you're mindful of closing the gate every time you come/go.
You're free to use anything in the home and will have access to ROKU streaming device, WIFI, an entire dresser, a closet + hangers, and all basic amenities (shampoo, soap, lotion) are provided for you.
**PLEASE KINDLY NOTE: due to booking turnover, early check-ins/late check-outs/luggage storage, etc. cannot be accommodated. If you have an early flight in/late flight out, we recommend looking into storage lockers in the area. Thank you in advance for understanding**

Koreatown is a centrally-located diverse urban neighborhood in Los Angeles:

Many restaurants, Korean BBQ, bars, and boba shops are within a 5 minute drive of our unit. USC/Staples Center/LA Convention Center/LA Live and DTLA are also a few minutes away. Attractions in Hollywood, Silver Lake, and Echo Park are all in close proximity. Venice Beach, Santa Monica, & other westside neighborhoods are also easily accessible via the 10 freeway.
Plenty of bus options around. The best way to get around is to drive yourself or take a Lyft everywhere you go. Because of the convenient central location, it's pretty cheap to catch Lyfts from our home, and you save yourself the stress of looking/paying for parking.
**We ask ALL GUESTS that are staying in our home to read through our entire listing + reference our house rules BEFORE booking to ensure it's a right fit.
**PLEASE MESSAGE US BEFORE:
- making a last minute booking (24 hours or less) to ensure we are able to accommodate you. Our standard cut off time is noon the day before arrival. Instant bookings with less than 24 hour notice are subject to cancellation
-making a long-term booking (more than 2 weeks) to ensure we can accommodate your long-term stay.
**BOOKINGS EXCEEDING 5 nights:
- we will need to access the space at least 1x halfway through your stay to care for our plants.
-subject to additional cleaning fee
-no on-site laundry available but we can recommend a great nearby Fluff & Fold service if needed
**PLEASE BE MINDFUL of your belongings and double check you have everything before leaving. Items left behind can be shipped to you for an automatic $30/hour fee + guests are responsible for all incurred shipping/insurance costs.
SMOKING VIOLATION FINE: we do not allow anyone to smoke/vape any substance inside our home, on the front porch, OR within the gated area. Guests who violate our house rule & choose to smoke will be charged $150 fine AND booking will be immediately cancelled.
LATE CHECK OUT FEE: Due to booking turnover, our cleaning crew needs to be able to access the space promptly after 11AM. We ask guests to be mindful of the checkout time + checkout procedure. There is a $30 charge per 1/2 hour (or fraction thereof) when late in checking out.
Please DO NOT use our address to receive any mail or packages. There are Amazon lockers/UPS/FED EX/USPS locations in the area you can use for this service.
A small loving shih-tzu, Lola, lives next door. She is super sweet and you may encounter her at some point, but she becomes very territorial and anxious around other dogs/pets. For this reason, we cannot accommodate any guests with pets/pups/service animals. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding.
