SVR-01108 Up two flights of stairs, Kaleidoscope is nestled in the treetops and flooded with natural light. You’ll enjoy breathtaking views from the balcony and windows of this gracious, meticulously curated space. Fully renovated in 2017, you’ll find gleaming heart pine floors, ten-foot ceilings, sunny windows, and the clean and crisp kitchen and bath. But, most of all, you’ll love the stained glass which inspired Kaleidoscope’s name. Handmade locally, each transom is transformed by the interplay of light and color. Kaleidoscope perfectly blends Savannah’s old world charm with eclectic mid-century furnishings and local, hand-sourced art. It will take your breath away. Through the small foyer with a coat closet, you’ll discover the open living and dining areas. Feel the warm glow created by calming shades of taupe and light blue bathed in sunshine by day and lamplight and dimmable recessed lighting by night. The living room has comfortable, upholstered seating for 7 and a 50-inch Ultra HD 4K television. The 'Wow Wall' is the focal point of this room with its books and curiosities that are an endless delight. Gather with family and friends to enjoy a great meal at the Danish Modern table that seats six. The built-in desk is the perfect spot to check your email, write a postcard to a friend or browse the lending library. Turn to find the beautifully appointed and well-stocked galley kitchen. We supply coffee (Free Trade Organic), teas, spices and oil to save you time and money. Look in the freezer for chilled beer mugs! Follow the hall to the bathroom and the bedrooms. The large, custom shower has a Grohe rain head and body sprayers and we supply body wash, shampoo, and conditioner so you'll have fewer things to pack. Both light-filled bedrooms enjoy beautiful views of the courtyard of the Owens-Thomas House Museum. Each room is furnished with a comfortable queen bed with two nightstands, a dresser, and a luggage rack so it will be easy to unpack and relax. For your added comfort, each bedroom has a ceiling fan, a white noise machine, a cell phone charging station and a reading lamp on each night stand. We insist on quality bed linens and fluffy towels. A Balcony with A View: From the living room, step through the window onto a private balcony that seems to float in the moss-draped trees. With a cafe table and seating for two, relax and take in the sights and sounds around you: the clip-clop of passing horse-drawn carriages, the chatter from the small tour group gathering at the door of the Owens-Thomas house, the sea of green as a gaggle of girl scouts pass by on their way to the Juliet Gordon Low House. For entertainment, enjoy WiFi, a 50-inch Smart 4K Ultra HD TV, HD Cable TV with 140 Channels, Netflix and Amazon Prime. For music, stream Pandora through the TV or use Bluetooth to broadcast your own music via the retro-styled radio on the mid-century bar in the dining room. We use Seventh Generation cleaning products and choose fragrance-free whenever possible. 0.5% of the purchase price of the personal care and cleaning products is donated to the Savannah Children's Theatre through Amazon. This 1100 sq. ft. private apartment and balcony are at your complete disposal. There is room in the closets, drawers and shelves for you to unpack and feel at home. You will enjoy perfect privacy. I am available by message, phone and email. The apartment is just steps from bustling Broughton Street. It enjoys a secluded calm, despite being close to hundreds of restaurants, pubs, galleries and shops. Leopold's Ice Cream, Funky Brunch Cafe, and Blends Coffee Bar are only steps away. Perfect location without a car... From the Airport: Either take a taxi, an Uber/Lyft or use local transportation. Chatham Area Transit runs an hourly shuttle to and from the airport to downtown. The Chatham Area Transit website is a good source of information for you about local transportation. Rent a bike! The Chatham Area Transit website outlines the procedure. In the Historic District: A shuttle bus will take you around the Historic District for free. The website referenced above has the details. Additionally, if you intend to take tours that use transportation, ask them if they will pick you up at the flat or if there is a pick up location nearby. If you wander around all day and exhaust yourself, take a pedicab (bicycle rickshaw) back to Kaleidoscope. If you want to go to the Mighty Eighth WWII Air Force Museum or to Tybee Island, you may need a car or Uber/Lyft or ask at the Visitor's Information Center if there are ways to get there without one. Bringing a car? State Street Garage is three minutes from Kaleidoscope. Rates are discounted on the weekend. Park once and collect your car at the end of your stay. I will send street-parking strategies with the last-minute details and they are also in the Welcome Book. Travel/Vacation Insurance – No one wants to cancel or cut short their travel plans, especially if they end up paying for a vacation they didn’t get to use. As it's an absolutely NEW house with all NEW furniture, please text or message us anything you feel is missing or can be added to improve your experience. The living area has a smart 55" TV with Cable & APPLE TV for projecting from your smart devices. There are separate Nest thermostat for your comfort. The kitchen is of all stainless appliances with a Gas stove for all your cooking needs. There's a powder room for your comfort and a big wrap around deck as extension of the living area. There are three separate bedrooms on the third floor. The master suite has a walk in closet and private bathroom. The shower is a large custom walk-in shower, double vanity, and a separate toilet room. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom that also has a double vanity and tub shower. The closets have chairs you can unfold for your suite cases. The Tankless Hot Water heater provides an unlimited supply of hot water, but it does take a second to warm up. There is a separate Nest to control comfort. There is laundry on the entry level and the roof deck has great ambient light for your evening and night lounging. The entry, garage, living deck lights are all set on automatic timers so you never have to worry about arriving to a dark house. Please make us aware of any issues during your stay. We want to make every effort to make your stay amazing. Additional FEES: 1. There is NO smoking and NO parties allowed at residence. Any evidence of either will result in an additional base charge of $650, plus any additional damage found. 2. Lost garage remote - $75 (Please kindly return to designated spot upon check-out.) 3. Late Checkout after 10am - $25 per hour for first 4 hours, $100 per hour after 2pm. (You are welcome to request early or late checkout ahead of time without charge, and we can check with our guest schedule to accommodate accordingly.) 4. The driveway is shared with 3 other neighbors. Please do not park in the driveway. Park in Garage or on the Street. Home is all yours and best way to reach us is via Text. We host a number of Airbnb's and usually around for any immediate assistance. This is a private residence in a quite neighborhood. NO parties. Set on a quiet street in the historic neighborhood of Mechanicsville, the house is only a 5-minute drive from Atlanta's Downtown nightlife venues, restaurants, sports venues, breweries, museums, and parks. Car is recommended but not needed. If you have cars, there is a 2 car garage on the property and plenty of street parking for extra cars. Tight driveway, be-careful! Also Ride sharing services such as Uber, Lift and others are readily available 24/7. ALARM is likely on. Please set alarm when leaving and make sure to turn off all lights. DRIVEWAY is very tight. We recommend you only park smaller cars in the garage. Larger cars can easily be parked on the street. TEMPERATURE control is via nests, adjust as needed. Begin the day with coffee and fresh air on a screened porch with city views from high up. The interior is designed for comfort, with a wicker rocking chair and piles of cushions. Parquet floors lead from an open-plan living area to a quiet bedroom. Located in the historic Peachtree Towers. The building is known for its insulation so you almost never hear you neighbors. Everything is updated and clean from floor to ceiling. Fully equipped kitchen. Top of the line queen mattress and bedding included for your comfort. You will love the versatility of this space. Living space is perfect for business meetings or you can convert the high end sofa bed to accommodate 4 guests comfortably. Sparkling bathroom. 50 inch TV with Roku and wireless internet. You cannot get more downtown than this location. 5 minute walk to the Peachtree center MARTA train station which is a 15 minute ride directly to the airport. Less than a 10 minute walk to - America's Mart - Phillips Arena - World Conference Center - Mercedes-Benz Stadium - Centennial Park - Coca-Cola Museum - Georgia Aquarium - less than 1 block to restaurants and convenience stores. I meticulously renovated and decorated this place. I tried to think of every thing possible for comfort. Little details, like an outlet on the night stand, have not been missed.. You have access to the entire condo. The space is entirely yours so make yourself at home. Laundry is on the bottom floor of the building. Check in is extremely easy. There is a 24 hours concierge available to check you in and direct you to the room. Keyless entry to the unit. Key fabs available in order to freely enter and exit the building after check in. I am always contactable for anything you need, please use the airbnb app for messages to guarantee delivery. The condo is in the downtown Hotel District, walking distance to Falcons and Hawks games. The World of Coca-Cola, Centennial Park, Georgia Aquarium, Georgia State University, and CNN are also in the neighborhood. 2 MARTA stations are close by. Surface parking lot right next to the building and a parking deck a block away. Note: Parking fees are not included with the rental and are paid separately. Uber is always less than 5 minutes away and very reasonable on price. Other Notes: I have shampoo, conditioner and body wash available. I welcome all! Come and stay at "The B Unit".

We highly recommend walking around town or renting a bicycle in order to fully appreciate this beautiful city and our lovely Southern weather! If you prefer, Savannah now offers Uber, and there are always plenty of taxis and pedicabs available as well! If you choose to bring your own vehicle, please note that the street parking is typically readily available, but please be mindful of the areas that have meters and the posted sweep zone times! PLEASE be mindful of the half step at the top of the spiral staircase! We love the historic feature, but hate that half step, so please, be very careful!

Marta Midtown Transit station is a 12-15 minute walk. Uber is a common travel method. But our favorite mode is a bicycle ride to Piedmont Park or the Atlanta Beltline Trail. Look across the leafy courtyard from the sun room of a landmark building in Atlanta. Built in 1907 by the famed Southern architect G.L. Norman, this restored apartment boasts eclectic accents such as stained-glass windows and original hardwood floors. This unit is on the first floor level, with an expansive sunroom overlooking the courtyard on historic Ponce De Leon Avenue. Please note that this is an urban setting. The building has been restored with new windows, doors and drywall, even so you will hear faint noises of the city. You will have access to your private unit on the first floor and gated parking for one car. Christina is always available by message should you need her. The apartment is in The Woodruff on Ponce that’s located near all things Atlanta. It’s a few blocks from Ponce City Market, the beltline, and Piedmont Park. Many well-known Atlanta eateries including Mary Mac's Tea Room, Bon Ton and Pappi's are close by. The Woodruff is on the bus line, close to two Marta Stations (Peachtree Center and Midtown Arts)and uber is always within 2 minutes. The city also has Bird and Lime scooters as well as motorized and non motorized bikes. If you are traveling with a car you will have one off street, gated assigned parking space. We can provide only one parking space per reservation. The building has a total of six units. Urban noises may be heard at times. Pets are considered, please ask before booking. You will be given a key fob to enter building and a electronic gate opener if you have a car. If either are lost there will be a $200 replacement fee.
