See “The Owl of Athens” well-known graffiti from the comfort of the corner balcony outside the living room of this renovated flat. Partially inspired by neo-classical style, the home is carefully curated with unique furnishings and original art.
The renovated apartment suite is located on the 1st floor in a building from 1970s, just three minutes from the Metro station "Mataxourgio". We have maintained all the original ceilings, wooden floor in the bedrooms and marble floors in the rest of the apartment whilst introducing the sleek and luxury granite floors and walls elsewhere.
The furniture is all handmade, unique pieces, either inherited or carefully selected to fit in the luxury modern style with neo-classical hints and the paintings have my signature :)
When you open the main door (new and fitted with latest security mechanisms) you will enter a foyer area. From there you will see the open plan modern kitchen with a living room on the bed on luxury dark granite. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances ready for your use and sits 3 for a drink or food on the centrally located kitchen island. In the kitchen you will see a 3D window construction which hosts a swing with inside and outside views. The modern living room can sit up to 6 people on the new and cosy Chesterfield sofa and around. There is a TV for those who enjoy catching up on movies and series or just wish to stay up to date with latest news. For those who are travelling for business purposes there is fast WIFI connection available and an antique desk where you can place your laptop or any device for business purposes.
From the living room, through the double glass door you can go outside to the big corner balcony where you can enjoy a few moments drinking our home made raki or liquer. From the balcony you can also see the most well-know graffiti in Athens "The Owl of Athens".
If you’re lucky to stay here with us over a Wednesday you will experience the lively street market with lots of local products and food.
You will quickly notice a sliding double door which is the entrance to the bedroom - it features a beautiful double bed, original wooden flooring and a headboard with a Swedish mural. Handmade silk bedding has been carefully selected for your comfort and quality rest. From here you may also step outside to the balcony. A modern open wardrobe will provide for the necessary storage space for your belongings and luggage.
Step outside, back to the living room and on your right hand side you will notice the bathroom with dark granite walls and modern appliances. Our water heat is managed by the Solar Panel located on the building roof to ensure that whilst we have hot water all year round we do it in an environmentally friendly way. Fresh towels and bathroom beauty products are prepared for you.

Metaxourgio was one of the wealthiest areas in the 1970's. Today, however, the neighbourhood ranges from luxury hotels and historic homes to high-end restaurants mixed with small local tavernas and cafes. There's something for everyone here.

•A few minutes away from mainstream, trendy, popular bouzoukia clubs and live music venues
•10 train stops from Piraeus Port (about 20-30 minutes)
