Shongwe is a rustic elegant home away from home, nested in the Nyanga Mountains. A four hour drive from Harare & centrally located 5 mins from Troutbeck Lodge & Resort. A charming little pink house sitting on a hill overlooking the Mozambique mountains, with a waterfall situated on the grounds (seasonal). Shongwe is an old house, if you love old fashioned homes you will fall in love with its restored old school charm & modern touches. Enjoy glorious views & the peaceful serenity it has to offer.

Relax in the quite and fresh mountain air and enjoy walks, climbing granite domes and red wine in front of the fireplace. 20 km from the Nat. Park and 35km to Mtarazi. Caretaker and Maid - Cook on site.

You have a hectare of tranquil land around the stone built cottage, amazing views and loads of recreation around it. A gentle stream runs down the base of the property and there is a barbaque area. Very secure and peacefull surroundings. Due to the beautiful mountains in the vicinity, Wifi reception can be erratic. Best to use this time to truly unwind 😊 The booking comes with 50GB data for every 4 weeks pro rata, but guests should be aware of the possibility of occasional loss of network.
