The Roost

The Roost is the ideal for any group whether it be your entire family , fishing trip or a ladies getaway.Free WiFi. Centrally located to several area attractions.2 minutes from the waters of Reelfoot Lake that is known throughout the States for its hunting and fishing and Eagle Tours.25 minutes from Discovery Park of America which has had over a million visitors since their opening. The Roost is stocked with paper goods,dry goods and plenty of fresh towels and linens.Owners are 20 minutes away.

You will truly enjoy the picturesque beauty of this setting right outside the city limits. The property has been designated as a Wildlife Habitat. You may occasionally see deer on the property and there is also a lovely spring fed pond. Elvis Presley spent time here on a few occasions. He rowed around the pond in a canoe and rode horses here. It is a two minute drive to our historic downtown. Farmhouse style decor. This is a two-story dwelling. The bedroom, bathroom and living room are upstairs.

Conveniently located right down the road are public boat ramps, fishing piers, spacious pavilions and grills, hiking trails, and famous Reelfoot Lake restaurants. Seasonal activities include guided pontoon boat cruises, bald eagle tours, and deep swamp canoe floats. Our family has made memories here since 1954, and we would love for you to start doing the same!

Close to local restaurants and stores. 1 bedroom with queen bed , 2nd bedroom with bunk beds and a sofa sleeper. Can sleep 4 to 5 people. Pet friendly.
