The Manor on Camelback

Water jets sparkle under the desert sun and firelight glows against white stucco walls at this sleek-outside, welcoming-inside retreat in the shadow of Camelback Mountain. Though its ranch-style layout looks low profile, the villa’s rooms stretch out beneath soaring wood-paneled ceilings. From its setting in sought-after Arcadia, it’s a few minutes to Scottsdale’s trails, golf, and shopping. Walls shield the villa’s backyard from view, making it feel like a private resort, without getting in the way of the mountain views. Spend sunny days in a lounger by the heated pool and hot tub and competing on the bocce and putting areas. Come nightfall, heat up the barbecue for an alfresco dinner and watch the stars come out from around the 4 firepits. At the heart of the property’s 7,500 square feet is an open-concept great room that encompasses 2 living areas, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with a wide breakfast bar. A vaulted wood-paneled ceiling, fireplace, and cognac leather accents add warmth to the airy space, while neon art is a playful surprise in one corner. Though it’s known for its tree-lined streets and quiet, family-friendly vibe, the Arcadia neighborhood also makes a great holiday base, thanks to its location just 3 minutes from Old Town Scottsdale and 15 minutes from downtown Phoenix. Entertainment Oasis

There’s no better place to watch the big game, or play one yourself, than this exciting entertainment paradise in Scottsdale. Shoot a round of mini-golf, pool, or cornhole; the list goes on-and-on. There’s even a playground for the kids. After all the activity, relax with a soothing soak in the hot tub. Then, head out for a little bar hopping 9-miles from home in Scottsdale’s Old Town. Before you head out for the night, sit with old friends at the wet bar for a beer while the chef in your group whips up a quick snack in the spacious kitchen at the opposite end of the open-concept living room. Not quite ready to go? Stay in and organize a poker tournament, throw a pool party, or find a partner for a game of doubles pickleball. If you’re keeping up with your fitness routine on vacation, you’ve come to the right place. There’s also a home gym. Scottsdale is a haven for people who love the outdoors. Hiking and cycling are great ways to enjoy the rugged environment and snap a few gorgeous landscape photos. The McDowell Sonoran Preserve has over 100-miles of hiking trails to explore. After warming up on the putting green, head out to one of the many desert golf courses in the area. The Pool House

Inside, you’ll find an open-concept contemporary layout with a spacious kitchen that is the perfect place to hang out before you head out for the night. Rather stay in? If you need a break from the action, find yourself a shady spot under a palm tree to catch up on some reading or take a nap in the hammock.
