If you're interested in trains, Pichi Richi railway is 20 kms to Quorn, or maybe mountain bike riding trails in Melrose. Wilmington has plenty to offer with Alligator Gorge, scenic lookouts, interesting shops, coffee, groceries, and hotel. Bike ride along the old railway track to Willowie forest. Heyson and Mawson trails are nearby.

We're at the end of the road. Do the ‘camping thing’ with the campfire & camp oven, then retire into the comfort of the Catninga Caravan. Fully kitted out kitchen, lounge area, your own campfire, and only a short walk to amenities. Be aware there is 1 double bed & 2 single children's beds .

A picturesque rustic stone homestead on 200 acres located on the Willochra Plains, a couple of kms from the historic town of Bruce. Approximately 40 minute drive from beautiful Melrose and Mount Remarkable, and a 20 minute drive to historic Quorn, home to the world famous Pichi Richi Railway. The homestead consists of 3 bedrooms, a well equipped country style kitchen with AC and wood fire, bathroom with inside toilet, sun lounge with a small bar and main lounge with reverse cycle AC.

Shearers Quarters - Dutchmans Stern

The bluff known as the Dutchmans Stern, located 10km north east of Quorn, is a prominent landmark. The Dutchmans Stern Conservation Park has plenty of walking trails to explore the rugged landscape. This rustic building sleeps up to nine people and includes three bedrooms and a large combined living and dining room. The views through the glass doors in the main bedroom provide an impressive vista of the ranges and the bluff - a prominent landmark in the park.

Perfect for nature lovers! Accommodating 2 people, our Eco Tent is a steel framed, insulated canvas tent with eco decking floor. A queen size bed including linen, a small kitchenette and outdoor furniture is provided. Complete with an attached ensuite with solar hot water – no dash to a shared bathroom block in the middle of the night! Please note that this is nature based experience, very much like camping but with comfort! Due to the secluded location there is no electricity.
