An opportunity to stay in a refurbished old stable block, built in 1865 in the heart of the old Market Town, Baldock. With the station only a 7 min walk away you can be in Cambridge in 30 minutes and in London in an hour. Take a 5 min walk into the centre of town where there are coffee houses, pubs, other eateries and a large Tesco. The annexe has a large open kitchen, dining area and sofas, and upstairs is 1 double bedroom and 1 twin room with ensuite shower rooms. The main house is close by

It has a luxury bathroom with underfloor heating a shower, hairdryer and lighted mirror towels are also provided.

Whilst It is in a rural location, the cabin provides close access to London by both train (29-minutes to London St Pancras) and car (A1(M)) along with a short drive to the local market towns of Hitchin, Letchworth Garden City and the large town of Stevenage. Brand new detached house in an elevated position above a quiet rural lane. Great night skies and horses in the field next door. Outside sitting area and private parking. Lovely king sized double bed with views and high quality bedding. Local eggs provided for breakfast. The Acorn is in the heart of the village so it’s very easy to walk anywhere and find 2 great pubs. Everything you require for a relaxing stay. All pubs, restaurants are in walking distance. It’s a 3 minute walk or so to Biggleswade Train Station which takes 34 minutes to London Kings Cross. Local town markets on Wednesday and Saturday. If your driving, then it takes 7 minutes from the A1M motorway. Please note you will find some personal items of mine in the flat as I live here too when not working away from home. I do not stay at the flat when guests are there.

Just 2 minutes from the M1, 5 minutes from Milton Keynes, 10 minutes from Woburn & 15 minutes from Bedford!
