Please read: I live in the home, so closets / dressers are full. It's not fancy, but cozy and loved. On the edge of town, you get amazing sunset views. This one-stop-sign town is 7-10 miles from Emporia, small, and friendly. You are just blocks away from an amazing restaurant (Rolling Hills) and bar (Harry and Lloyds) - both the best in Lyon County. There is a gas station, bank, and liquor store very close, as well. You are about 10 minutes from a Wal-Mart and fast food.

Flint Hills Glamping! Come reconnect with nature and rejuvenate by the water at this unforgettable escape. Stargaze, watch sunsets, or curl up and read on the loft Moonpod. For the explorers, there are plenty of gravel roads to bike, kayaks available for the pond, and plenty of fish to catch. ***Please note*** This is a dry cabin-meaning there are no water facilities inside, but there is an exterior entrance to a bathroom/shower off the main house that is available 24/7.

The Hunters Hideaway

This cozy, rustic, historical building located in the quiet, quaint town of Reading is just 15 minutes from Emporia and surrounded by some of the best public hunting land in Kansas. Come prop your feet up, watch a movie on the 65”tv, walk across the street to the local cafe and enjoy the simple life. This was once a deer processor/apartment. So if you are hunting there is an area dedicated to cleaning your game with drainage system and deep freezer.
